This Teacher Terms and Policy (“Policy”) governs the participation of individuals providing teaching services (“Teacher”, “you”, or “your”) through the Lesson Head platform (“Lesson Head”, “Platform”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). By registering as a Teacher and offering lessons on the Platform, you agree to comply with this Policy and all applicable laws and regulations.
To maintain the quality and integrity of the Platform, all Teachers must complete Lesson Head’s verification process before offering lessons.
Teachers must provide:
A valid government-issued identification document
A recognized teaching certificate or relevant academic qualification
Evidence of teaching experience
A short introductory video describing their teaching background and methodology
Lesson Head reserves the right to review, verify, approve, reject, or request additional documentation at its sole discretion.
Providing false, misleading, or fraudulent information may result in immediate account suspension or termination.
Lesson Head currently provides:
Online one-to-one lessons only
All lessons must be conducted exclusively through the Platform using Zoom or other official communication tools integrated within the Platform.
Teachers agree that they will not:
Conduct lessons outside the Platform
Move students to external communication platforms for teaching
Accept payments from students outside the Platform
Share personal contact information intended to bypass the Platform
Lesson Head reserves the right to monitor compliance with this requirement.
Teachers are responsible for setting the price of their lessons.
Lesson Head currently applies the following service fees:
These fees may be updated by Lesson Head at any time with reasonable notice.
All payments must be processed through the Platform. Teachers agree that they will not request or accept off-platform payments.
To encourage student engagement and platform growth, the following rule applies:
Teachers may not opt out of this requirement.
Teachers are responsible for managing their own availability through the Platform’s scheduling system.
When a Teacher marks a time slot as available:
Student bookings are automatically accepted
The Teacher becomes responsible for delivering the scheduled lesson
Teachers must ensure that their availability calendar is accurate.
Teachers are expected to honor all confirmed bookings.
The following cancellation rules apply:
More than 24 hours before the lesson
No cancellation fee
Less than 24 hours before the lesson
Teacher must pay $20 to Lesson Head
Less than 12 hours before the lesson
Teacher must pay $30 to Lesson Head
Repeated cancellations may result in account suspension or removal from the Platform.
Lesson Head reserves the right to apply additional administrative actions if cancellation patterns negatively affect student experience.
To ensure service quality and platform integrity:
All lessons conducted through the Platform may be recorded
Teachers acknowledge and consent that recordings may be used for:
Quality assurance
Dispute resolution
Service improvement
Compliance and safety monitoring
Lesson recordings remain the property of Lesson Head.
Teachers must maintain professional standards when interacting with students.
Teachers are required to maintain:
Reliable high-speed internet connection
Camera enabled during lessons
Clear and functional microphone
Teachers must not engage in:
Abusive behavior
Harassment
Discrimination
Fraudulent conduct
Any activity that compromises student safety or trust
Lesson Head reserves the right to take disciplinary action in response to violations.
Students may provide ratings and feedback following each lesson.
If a Teacher’s average rating falls to 2.5 or lower, and the Teacher has completed at least five (5) lessons, Lesson Head may immediately:
Suspend the Teacher’s ability to offer lessons
Restrict or terminate the Teacher account
Lesson Head may take such action without prior notice where necessary to protect the integrity of the Platform.
Teachers agree not to engage in the following activities:
Sharing personal contact details for off-platform communication
Accepting or requesting payments outside the Platform
Submitting false qualifications or identity information
Attempting to bypass platform systems
Engaging in abusive, illegal, or unethical behavior
Violation of these rules may result in immediate account termination.
Lesson Head reserves the right to suspend or terminate a Teacher account at its sole discretion for reasons including but not limited to:
Repeated lesson cancellations
Abusive or inappropriate behavior
Fraud or deceptive practices
Submission of fake qualifications
Violation of Platform policies
In certain circumstances, suspension or termination may occur without prior notification.
Lesson Head reserves the right to modify this Policy at any time.
Updated versions will be published on the Platform. Continued use of the Platform after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
By registering as a Teacher on the Lesson Head platform, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to comply with this Teacher Policy and all associated Platform rules.
Failure to comply with these requirements may result in disciplinary action, including suspension or permanent removal from the Platform.
